Opel Blizt German WWII truck
The Opel Blitz 3 ton S (Standard) truck was by far the most common truck in the German Wehrmacht. Production started in 1937 as a civilian commercial truck. The name "Blitz" came as a result of a contest by Opel to name their new truck. By 1944, 82,356 Blitz 3 ton trucks had been manufactured.
